Tourist information kiosks
touchsmart designs and manufactures Tourist Information Kiosks for outdoor installation. Our kiosks can accommodate a member of staff, with a dedicated desk and computer for assisting visitors, while also providing an interactive self-service point through an outdoor waterproof, vandal-resistant, ultra-high-brightness touchscreen. This ensures that information and services remain available to the public 24/7.
A Tourist Information Kiosk is an ideal solution for municipalities and regional authorities looking to establish an outdoor visitor information and service point at a strategic, high-traffic location. The kiosks can be equipped with air conditioning, thermal insulation, vandal-resistant glass, impressive lighting and an adjustable leveling system for installation on surfaces that are not perfectly even, as well as additional equipment depending on your specific requirements.
Our Tourist Information Kiosks are manufactured from highly durable materials, making them suitable even for installation in coastal environments.
touchsmart Tourist Information Kiosks are constructed with a robust metal frame, using appropriately sized structural sections to ensure maximum rigidity. The side panels and roof are insulated with high-quality rock wool for effective thermal protection. The floor is supported by the structural frame and consists of an 18 mm moisture-resistant wooden panel with waterproofing protection, finished with a highly durable, non-slip surface.
The front of the Tourist Information Kiosk features fixed glazing with a service window for communication between staff and visitors. Glazed panels are also incorporated into the side and rear sections. Inside, the kiosk is equipped with a dedicated desk and a swivel chair for the staff member.
The exterior of the Tourist Information Kiosk features a waterproof, vandal-resistant, ultra-high-brightness interactive touchscreen ranging from 43" to 55". Inside the kiosk, a 21.5" display can be mounted on the service counter facing outward for the presentation of advertising and informational content. Each side of the kiosk can also feature an illuminated logo customized to the organization, municipality, museum or other authority operating the information point.
